Grill Maestro

One of my best money savings tip for new grillers is to buy a used propane tank to swap out at your local Wal-Mart/Home Depot/Lowes. Where can you find a used propane tank? My #1 suggestion is to scour your local Craigslist or Freecycle sites for people giving away their old grills. The grill itself is probably useless, unless you want to stick one in your garage so you can take it to tailgates, but the used propane tank is worth a good twenty bucks.

Can’t find a cheap or free replacement tank via Craigslist or Freecycle? You can always buy one on the cheap from a store like Costco. I don’t know if BJ’s or Sam’s Club offers it but Costco does.
