Weber Grill Restaurant Barbecue Classes
Grilled on September 20th, 2006 in Cool!, GrillsI was looking around online for some classes focused solely on barbecue or smoking or anything like that and saw that the Weber Grill Restaurant, the brainchild of George Stephen who created the Weber Grill in 1951, actually offered barbecue cooking classes! The classes run 9AM on Saturdays at the Schaumburg, IL franchise of the Weber Grill Restaurant and the schedule can be found here.
What’s left for this year?

October 28 - Octoberfest
November 11 - Thanksgiving Dinner
December 9 - Holiday Feast

How cool is that? Too bad I’m not anywhere near Illinois.

Mmmh, I gotta check into that. But I’m also thinking.. if there’s not one in your area… sounds like a great side gig for a Grill Maestro…
Hook up with the local Lowe’s or Home Depot and do some demo cooking on the grill.
May have to put that idea down at Marlin Creek (http://marlincreek.com)
Let me know if you ever find a local one and if it’s worth a flip (ha, pun intended).
My condolences for living in one of those unfortunate not-near-here places.
But, having been unaware of this opportunity, I’m quite grateful for the post.
