Quick Burger Tip: 20% Fat Minimum

I know that counting calories seems to be the norm these days (as it should be, obesity is a problem and calorie intake should be monitored) but if you’re going to eat a burger, you might as well eat a good burger. The tip for today is:

Don’t make a burger with less than 20% fat. If you use meat that’s leaner, it’ll turn out dry and the burger might not stick together on the grill. I know that the thought of eating something that’s 20% fat probably isn’t that appealing when you think of the numbers but the fact of the matter is that using less than 20% fat makes for a dry and unappealing burger.

To be entirely honest, if you really don’t want to eat a burger with 20% fat, consider grilled chicken as a very tasty and juicy alternative.
