My soon-to-be wife has been known to grill a pizza from time to time. It's been a couple of years since I've seen her do it. She used a store brand from a supermarket back in Boston. It came out good, but I didn't take any notes on the grilling of it.

Yes, I have tried this on a charcoal grill and a gas grill...it is awesome. The grill flavor is best if you keep the top lid on the grill. The smoked flavor gives the pizza something normal ovens or pizza ovens don't. This is making me hungry.

I use a premade pizza crust (boboli, etc) and that works well. I have a nice little baking sheet that has holes in the bottom that lets the flames kiss the crust, and all you're really looking to do is heat the crust and melt the cheese.
