Here’s a question from a reader that I need you all’s help on:

My gas grill is in bad shape. It has three burners in parallel. The jets on the first one are clogged or something. (Haven’t looked closely yet.) this results in the gas being “backed up” so that when I attempt to light it, I get a big (and scary) “poof” at the front of the grill, and then ongoing flame *underneath the control panel*. Not good. If I keep the first burner off, the other two work fine. HOW DO I CLEAN MY BURNERS?

My response, which arguably might be helpful but likely isn’t since I’ve never encountered this problem, was:

Is there anyway you can disconnect that burner? If so, maybe get like a
compressed air canister or something and try to clear the lines that way?
If not, maybe you can throw it in your oven and try to burn it away? Not
entirely sure… never ran into this problem.

Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!
